Practical Details Location I work from a tranquil consulting room in Kingwood Common, a village approximately 5 miles from both Henley-on-Thames and Reading. There is ample free parking in the grounds and the nearest bus stop (for services to Henley and Reading) is a 5 minute walk away. The consulting room is situated on the ground floor of the property, close to the main entrance, making access for wheel-chairs possible. Contract I do not charge for the initial session. This is an opportunity for you to get an idea of what counselling feels like and for us to explore whether we might be able to work together productively. Should you decide to continue after this initial session, whether on an open-ended or a time-limited basis, then we would agree a contract for our work, consisting of a schedule of sessions and arrangements for payment of the fee. Sessions (including the initial session) last for 50 minutes and normally take place at the same time each week. My current fee (which is reviewed annually) is £45.00 per session, although some concessions are available. Payment is due for missed or cancelled sessions unless agreed in advance. |
